Major Sushil Goel (Retd) has a very rich and varied working experience of over 45 years, having served in Central Government, Army, Corporate sector, Education, Skill Development and Assessment fields.
The Army Ordnance Corps main responsibility is to provide material and logistics support to the Indian Army and, if required, to the Navy and Air Force during war and peace.
The AOC centre is responsible to impart training to the ordnance corps personnel. Apart from military training, the AOC personnel are also trained in different kinds of repair works, ancillary trades such as carpentry, tailoring, saddlery, driving etc
He is currently 67 years of age and has attended various management programs in Army and Corporate world
After retirement from Army in 1994, he joined the corporate sector and worked in the IT and Computer divisions for setting up various operational systems. Later on, he joined Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and after gaining experience in the education field, he pioneered the concept of computer education at a very affordable price for the general public. He later worked for promotion of the concept of distance education across the country, thereby bringing the education to the doorstep of learners. Today, distance education learning is a highly acceptable mode of learning across the entire student community
Major Sushil Goel (Retd) has successfully led the implementation of several Skill Development Projects sanctioned by Central / State Governments. He has also headed the successful completion of over 3.5 Lac of skilled candidates thereby enabling them for placement
He is currently managing Projects relating to education, skill development, assessment and healthcare
